Of joining the club, Burgess said: āIām sad to be leaving the Dragons but I wish Head Coach Dai Flanagan and the team all the best. I hugely enjoyed my time in Wales and believe the Dragons squad is now well-placed to kick on and push up the United Rugby Championship.
āThe opportunity to join Bath Rugby was one I couldnāt turn down. Johann (van Graan) and I are very closely aligned in our beliefs around recruitment and retention, and I look forward to contributing to the process at Bath to ensure we continue to develop a talented squad capable of competing at the highest level in the Premiership and in Europe.
Burgess brings with him a large network of rugby agents from his time working as an agent himself. He also boasts experience within the Premiership from his time at Gloucester Rugby as Head of Rugby Operations and on an international level at the RFU as England Team Operations Manager.
Van Graan added: āRobĀ has joined the club to help our efforts in recruiting players who want to be part of the journey and retaining our players in the Bath squad and pathway.”
